Coaching Philosophy

Simon is a firm believer that golf is not just about how good your technique is……

There are many reasons why golfers struggle with certain aspects of their games. I like to explore with them and delve into those reasons to help uncover the root cause for any faults. We will look into technique faults and how these can be linked into 4 pillars of performance - knowledge, equipment, psychology or physiology”.

As a keen player himself, Simon understands that golf isn’t about how pretty your swing looks but more importantly, how it functions and that our mindset can unlock these skills.

“… I work with each player very differently. Every person has a swing style and instead of spending wasted hours finding that ‘perfect position’ I work towards getting better feels, engaging the correct mindset, for playing all the shots necessary, to shoot your lowest scores!….”
