In 2018, he won the PGA of Lancashire seasons order of merit and often finishes inside the top 3 year to year. Simon started his golf as a junior member of Morecambe Golf Club, before joining the professional ranks with his first appointment at Malahide Golf Club, Co. Dublin. From there, he joined an indoor simulator business in Manchester before moving down to Birmingham and running the John Letters Golf Academy in Solihull. As the first of his two children arrived, Simon felt a move closer to home was needed, joining Ashton Golf Centre in Lancaster. After four successful years there, Garstang provided and excellent opportunity to grow his Coaching clientele.
